Pressure and back pressure
High pressures are no problem in metering systems as long as there is something to counter them. MBN hydraulic diaphragm metering pumps therefore use a hydraulic fluid to create back pressure. You will soon notice the benefits for the diaphragm.

It works, it works well, and it lasts for a long time. The hydraulic control is very precise and requires only minimal maintenance. The diaphragms are durable and provide consistently accurate metering. The technology also offers a high standard of safety. There is a pressure relief valve in the hydraulic end as protection against overload. The multi-layer diaphragms are equipped with a diaphragm rupture warning system as standard. So there is no risk of the feed chemicals mixing with the hydraulic oil.

PTFE multi-layer diaphragm with electric diaphragm rupture warning system via a contact
Integrated hydraulic relief and bleed valve
Wetted materials: PVDF, PTFE+25% carbon, stainless steel 1.4571, Hastelloy C.
A wide range of power end versions is available: Three-phase or 1-phase AC motor, motors for use in areas at risk from explosion, different flange designs for use of customer-specific motors
Degree of protection: IP 55
Design in compliance with API 675 among others
